Big profile on Grimm in the Advance

Nice to see, finally, a long story about Michael Grimm (too bad it came after the election, but that's the Advance for you — always late on a story).

Worth reading, though, if only for Grimm's assertion that he's the kind of guy who would be coaching Little League and soccer (ooh, too bad he annulled his marriage before he had the time to actually have kids):

  1. You must have way too much time on your hands if you are commenting on Michael Grimm's failed marriage. I might imagine that being the son-in-law of a dirt bag like Master Kim and his child molesting son, could have had something to do with it. Wouldn't go over well with the soccer Moms would it. But we don't know do we. I can't help but wonder who you are. A concerned citizen or a loser who doesn't have a life so you create one by putting someone elses' under a microscope. Tell me are you one of these guys whose lost all his hair, have too much around the waistline and haven't seen your winky dinky in years, are unlucky with the ladies perhaps. Get a life will you. The supporters of Michael Grimm welcome your criticism but be prepared for a blitz on your blog.

The award for most weaselly political advertisement of the campaign season - which has produced a tonnage of deceptions and half-truths greater than all the garbage in Fresh Kills - goes to Rep. Mike McMahon.
