Tea leaves on Grimm staff

Just noticed on the irreplaceable Capitol Hill job list service, Craig Roberts Jobs List that Grimm is seeking two staffers — an assistant and a new press secretary. Here are the listings (but we know that our friends in the media will be happy to hear that Grimm is hiring a new press secretary. His campaign was notorious for keeping the candidate away from reporters, so anything to change that will likely be welcome). The job listing for press secretary describes Grimm as "a very active member of Congress." We'll see.

Staff Assistant - Congressman-Elect Michael Grimm (NY-13) (Staten Island & Brooklyn) is looking for a Staff Assistant for his DC office. Successful candidates must have excellent organizational, personal, writing and communication skills. Ideal candidates will have prior Capitol Hill experience and strong ties to Staten Island and/or Brooklyn. Responsibilities include greeting visitors, arranging tours, filling flag requests, answering phones, sorting mail, and other general office duties. Resumes and cover letters should be sent to cberardini@earthlink.net , please include "Staff Assistant" in the subject line.
